What a beautiful, hidden gem in the middle of the most gorgeous book store! The elegance of this restaurant and the ambiance was immaculate. The array and assortment of foods that they had was absolutely scrumptious!! The service was a bit slow but because they are always so busy. You normally need to wait for a seat but you don't wait long. The staff are so friendly and once again, the overall atmosphere was just beautiful!

We had a great experience at Olive & Plates. Our waiter, Isda, was excellent — attentive, friendly, and really elevated the service. I ordered the Beef Wellington, which was good. It came deconstructed, so I think it was more of a fillet with sauce and mushroom elements, but still enjoyable. Their cocktails were tasty, though definitely on the weaker side — they could add a bit more alcohol for better balance. For dessert, we shared five different cakes among the table, and they were all impressive. Olive & Plates never disappoints with their bakery section. Overall, a solid experience with standout service and great desserts.

A relaxed yet casually upmarket eatery tucked inside Exclusive Books Hyde Park- desserts to die for and a bar that offers absolutely everything. Their servings are generous and plated food is beautifully presented - the croissant with cheese and jam was a meal in of itself and the berries compote was a delightful surprise. The Mimosa’s are exquisitely prepared and perfectly balanced - not too sweet not too much champagne - just right - so much so that we had more ! We sat at a sunny bar counter table and felt very Hollywood with our sunglasses! A good spot to frequent!

A very delightful time to be had here, not dressed up to the 9s but to blend in it won’t hurt;) the inviting display of champagne bottles wanted me to order crystal oysters and sushi. Alas I was in the mood for pasta and it was the best choice ever. My friend had fish and she devoured it. Good lighting, beautiful setting, you may want to book to sit on the different seating settings. Highly instagramable. You can thank me later. I approve!

Absolutely loved the vibe at Olives and Plates Hyde Park. The combination of books and beautifully curated restaurant layout creates such a warm, inspiring atmosphere — it feels like you’re dining in a cozy library with a touch of elegance. Classy ambiance with excellent service. My family liked his Panko chicken w/vegetables entree. I disliked my fried fish and chips. The cakes on display are a huge draw, but we tried 4 different flavors and 3 looked better than they tasted.

First class experience! The waiters are so professional and sweet and the food is incredible. Lovely and warm atmosphere to top it off. I can't recommend this restaurant enough when you are looking for something special and different.
